Mouthmill
Handmade, limited edition linoprint of the striking Blackchurch Rock at Mouthmill Beach on the North Devon coast.
This is an original linocut, handprinted from my home workshop in North Devon. It is an 8-layer reduction print - which is a method of printmaking where only one block of lino is used to print from. You cut away more from the block each time and then print on top of the previous colour.

- Image size is approx 31cm x 20cm, plus generous border to allow for framing.
- Linocut edition of 28
- Each print is numbered and signed by myself on the front of the artwork.
- Caligo Safewash printmakers ink, on 145gsm acid-free archival printmakers paper.
- Reduction technique, where the various colours are printed from the same block of lino.
- Sold unframed and unmounted.
Please note, I have tried my best to photograph the artwork in such a way that its true colours come across, but please be aware that colour will vary slightly from screen to screen. Also, since this work is handprinted, there are natural variances and minor imperfections in each print, which adds to the handmade charm and unique nature of the linocut.
